The closest train station is Bournemouth Central. Leave the station at the south exit (facing Asda) and turn left to head towards the main road. Turn left again and walk up Holdenhurst Road for around 30 minutes, until you reach a roundabout. Turn into Kings Park Drive and the Vitality Stadium is on the left.


Parking is available at the ground for a small charge but can get quite busy. Alternatively the Sovereign Centre on Christchurch Road and is a reasonable £2 for 4 hours or £4 for 24 hours.

Although Bournemouth now ply their trade in the Premier League, it took a late 2-1 win over Grimsby Town in 2009 to preserve their status in the entire football league. 

They began the season with a 17 point deduction but Steve Fletcher's 100th league goal kept them up and has since been rewarded with a stand bearing his name.
