The closest train station is Falmer which is a short walk from the stadium and around a 10 minute train journey back to Brighton station. Trains run roughly every 10 minutes on a matchday.
Supporters are advised to utilise the Park & Ride schemes in place as street parking is not readily available near the ground. The car park formerly known as the Bridge Car Park (BN1 9PW) is most likely to have spaces and the cost of your bus travel is included as part of your matchday ticket.
The football club encourages away supporters to utilise the facilities inside the ground both before and after the match which is a good job as there's little else nearby in terms of pubs. Dick's Bar makes a nice change from the concourse but expect to queue to get in.
Personally I normally book a hotel room at the Miller and Carter Steakhouse in Patcham, park up and have a few bevvies in there early doors. There is then a Park & Ride bus to the ground which is a short 5 minute walk from the hotel and is free to travel with a valid match ticket.
