Former football commentator and television presenter Brian Moore was a lifelong Gillingham supporter before sadly dying in 2001 at the age of 69. He was famous for commentating on a number of European and World Cup games but is probably most well known for Arsenal and Michael Thomas' last gasp lead-deciding goal against Liverpool in 1989 where he said "it's up for grabs now". He was also a director at the club for seven years.
